FAQs

  • By supercharging your cover, you get all the benefits of our Essentials plan, plus we’ll cover you for breakdowns and repairs too (such as rectifying leaks in your system). We’ll also give you a higher cover limit (unlimited a year), and a higher claims limit (up to £5,000 a claim).

  • Making a home emergency claim couldn’t be easier. Find out more about the claims process below.

    1. Call our team within 48 hours of the incident occurring (anything after this will not be considered an emergency).

    2. We aim to provide 24 hour support to make a repair or provide a replacement.

    3. Once the job is done, you’ll sign to confirm you’re happy with the service and we’ll settle the bill (within your cover limits) with the engineer directly.

    Please note, there is a compulsory £60 excess to pay in the following situations:

    • Any claim made within the first 90 days of cover

    • Any boiler over 10 years of age

  • When you take out cover with us, you can choose the excess that suits you best. In general, the higher the excess you pick, the lower your monthly cost will be.

    You can see the difference in price using the cover table above, and toggling between the three options.

    The three options are £0, £60, and £95.

    A quick heads-up - there’s an extra £60 excess to pay if:

    • you make a claim in the first 90 days of your cover

    • your boiler (if you choose to cover one) is over 10 years old
